Just used these on a weekend trip. Worked great, have used packing cubes in the past, but first time using compression ones. Will never go back to regular ones again, was able to fit so much more in my weekend bag with these. Strong zippers and overall good quality. The shoe bag also worked very well. Highly Recommend!!

This set comes with every size and type of bag you could need for most trips. The clothing ones are big enough for weeks ofoutfits. The smaller size holds at least 10 or 12 large men’s T-shirts, and the large size holds pants AND jackets, and probably even a pillow if you squished it up. I like the transparent toiletry bag for TSA.

I was skeptical when I first got these. They seemed too small until I fully unzipped and expanded them to start packing. I love these! I’m the worst packer ever and these made my life easier. I travel a bit for work and I like to separate uniform and different clothes and stuff. These cubes are amazing and I wish I had them sooner! They’re roomy and I was able to organize and fit so much. Happy packer over here!

We are backpacking a lot, so I bought 4 small Bag. It fits well in the standard airplane Size backpack (40x30x20), the zippers are sturdy.
I was able to pack for a week in Iceland (rain gear included!).

These packing cubes are well-sewn and hold quite a bit. I used them for a recent trip and was impressed by how well they held my clothing. I folded up 6 shirts and a light raincoat (one is not shown in the photo), and they all fit fine in the medium cube. I was able to pack all my tops into 2 cubes and place them on top of each other in a standard suitcase. Both zippers worked well and didn't catch on the clothing inside. These are not miracle devices, but they worked well to keep my tops contained and compressed rather than having to roll them up with my pants. This made it much easier to unpack quickly during the first part of my trip.

Over the last 3 years, my fiancee and I have been traveling to multiple locations across the United States, Puerto Rico, and internationally. At this point we've become pretty seasoned in limiting the amount of clothes we bring on trips. In the past we had used packing cubes that didn't compress. A few months ago, we had purchased our first set of compression packing cubes. While the brand is nice quality, the biggest issue we had was that it didn't fully open all the way around.These compression cubes fully opens all the way around the cube allowing for easy packing. This set includes a variety of sizes with 5 pieces - XL, 2 Large, Small bag, and a shoe bag. In the attached images, the XL had 2 pairs of jeans, a pair of shorts, sweatpants, and a oversized sweatshirt. Note that is overfilled, to have the bag flat, the sweatshirt needed to be removed.What we love about compression cubes is the ability to shrink down the volume of clothes and fit more in the bag without feeling like it is messy. With these compression cubes, it is safe to say that nearly double the amount of clothes can fit into a suitcase vs a standard packing cube. Additionally, the zippers appear to be very durable and would be able to withstand multiple trips.Pro travel tip: Sort your clothes in the cubes for easy access. Example, use one bag for your next day change of clothes and your night wear. It will make it easy to unpack one bag instead of opening them all at once and having clothes all over the place. And if for some reason plans change, it is easy to repack one cube and go.

The Alameda compression bags are great for organizing my suitcase.  I love the see through side where I can view what’s in each bag.  The quality of the bags are excellent and I like the fact they give you a bag for shoes.

Five stars without hesitation. It is very light weighted, expandable with zipper. They are just great for travel. It provides great space in suitcase and they make your luggage neat and organized. I just used them for my long trip. Awesome product. Certainly recommend.

The media could not be loaded.  This review is written after 5 to 6 weeks of use and multiple trips.These compression suitcase packings have surprise me.I’ve packed them, in fact over pack them. Fought with them so they can close and they stayed closed. They can be thrown on the ground, jostled around in a suitcase and they will not break open.I have taken these on a total of six trips with multiple packing and unpacking, throwing into suitcases and they survived and they still look new.Of course, if they are over packed, it is a task to close the compression zipper. Ideally leave the cover zipper slightly open and then force in the sides with your fingers as you move the zipper along. This will close them securely and they will not break open and it does release a lot of the air in between the clothes.Only negative comment is that the cord attached to the zipper handle seems to strain under pressure. I have not had one break but I can see it may occur with frequent usage. Of course I will update in a month when I return back.I have tried multiple packing cubes both compression and non-compression and these are my favorite.

How did I not get these before?!? I have been using “standard” packing bags and thought I was doing great with space saving and keeping things organized but these compression bags are a whole new level. Maybe because they are the first of its kind that I tried but I am completely astonished by them. I was able to pack so many things in such a small space. It was easy to fill the bags as they open all the way around and they came in 3 different sizes + shoe bag. I wish there was an option to choose sizes and how many pieces to get as I think I would get more large ones. Regardless, these are awesome and I will be purchasing another set.

I used these to pack one pair of tennis shoes, fleece winter pj's, and one day of winter clothing. The clothing (jeans, t-shirt, hoodie, socks and undergarments) fit in a single cube. Pretty impressive. The PJs had to go into a separate pack and the shoes easily fit in the shoe bag. I could have easily added more into the second bag for a longer trip. These will be nice for keeping items separate even if you don't need compression.

They really help keep things organized. When I had to take only a personal item rolling bag it really helped pack things down. Really happy with the purchase.

These bags are wonderful for travel organization. Each comes with an extender zipper like the ones on suitcases, and can easily fit many days of travel essentials. I love the pastel pink color too!

I travel a lot, and usually tightly roll my clothes when packing. I was curious to see if these compression bags could reduce the amount of bag space I needed despite having already compressed my clothes through rolling.I was pleasantly surprised at how well these compression cubes worked. Four rolled shirts fit easily into one of the larger cubes, and I probably could have fit five. The zipping process was very smooth and simple. I measured before and after compressing, and found that the thickness had reduced from approximately 4-1/2" before using the compression zipper to about 3" after compressing.The only downside I noted is that the zipper that allows access to the inside of the compression cubes for packing doesn't open completely - instead, there's a portion at the end of each compression cube that is sewn shut and has to be accessed from above. On the larger cubes, this sewn area ranges from 4" on one side to 8" on the other. I can see how having to slide clothes into this portion of the cube might cause a small challenge for travelers who neatly fold rather than roll their clothes. However, I had no problem fitting my rolled clothes into the portion of the cubes that lacked zipper access.Highly recommended!

I'm able to reduce the space with this item. The trick is needed to put weight or press in the middle of the bag while zip it up.
